32/14.    One Accountant post was temporarily shifted to BPC TVM. As there is no sanctioned accountant post in BPC TVM and the Accountants in HRO TVM are facing heavy work load, the Accountant post should be reinstated to HRO TVM. In the wake of diversion of supervisor post in BPC the case may be reconciled accordingly.
            The post of Accountant has been shifted to BPC TVM after due establishment revision and also as per the direction of Circle Office during 2011.

7/15.   Supervisors in Speed Hub of Tiruvalla RMS and Kottayam RMS – Deployment of supervisors for SP Hub are essential. Diversion of posts from the letter branch is suggested.

            The supervisory posts in both the units are lying vacant. Hence diversion of supervisors is not possible at present. When postings are made, the suggestion of Union will be implemented, by changing the MODOW.

8/15.   ICH Kottayam:  One SA post and MTS posts for ICH Kottayam in the wake of heavy work is requested.

Compilation of statistics is being carried out at Kottayam RMS and the report will be submitted soon. On the basis of the report, this will be examined.

10/15.    Supply of sufficient number of fans to 2nd class hub in TVM RMS.

               The staff in 2nd class hub are in trouble due to inadequate number of fans. Present fittings are not yielding sufficient infrastructure as the seat position does not align with fan points. Immediate supply of wall fans is requested.

               Report of ASP, TVM RMS/1 has been called for.

11/15.    Replacement of Air Conditioner in TVM TMO.

               Staff in the cubicle of TVM TMO unit is facing uneasiness and discomfort due to hotness and the situation is critical in summer. The present one is incurring heavy maintenance charges and eats huge electrical charges. So replacement is inevitable.

               Proposal for the purchase of a new AC will be forwarded to C.O. Old one will be got repaired economically.

12/15.    Fans in the MPCM counter of TVM RMS
              
               Fans in the MPCM counter of TVM RMS at the customer side are not working. Replacement of fans is needed.

               Necessary directions to replace the fan at the counter have been given to HRO TVM.

13/15.    Effective Holidays to the staff working in sections.

               As per Directorate memo No. 12-7/78-PE dated 4.10.1978, the RMS staff working in sections having less than 39 weekly working hours will be entitled to nine effective holidays including three national holidays in a calendar year. Our staff are deprived of this. Kindly do the needful.

               This has already been taken up with C.O vide letter No. ESTT/GNL/II dated 06.03.2014. No reply has been received yet. Reminded on 09.06.2015.

14/15.    Filling up of OA posts in SRO Kayamkulam. Kindly take necessary action.

               Volunteers to fill up the post have been called for. No eligible officials have been volunteered.

15/15.    Parcel Hub in Kottayam RMS.

               Heavy dumping of PL from online shoppers from Safdarjung creates dislocation to the smooth functioning. Additional manpower is requested.

   IP, KTM RMS reported that there is no such dumping at present and hence there is no need of additional manpower.

New Items:

16/15.  Resumption of MPCM/4 in TVM RMS: Modification of TVM RMS counter into a full fledged counter is the need of hour. Walk-in customers are contributing heavily to increase the business and they prefer queue- free business. The presumption of decline in business is originated from unscientific calculation and rejection of facts. It is requested to resume the post ignoring other odd factors as it will increase the business in long run.

              Will be re-examined on the basis of the inputs given by the Union.

17/15.  Opening tables of PH TVM.

 Replacing of dilapidated surfaces of opening tables is requested

               Report of ASP, TVM RMS/1 will be called for.


                        The next meeting is proposed to be held on 31.7.2015 at 1030 hours.   Items to be discussed in the meeting may be submitted on or   before        20.07.2015. Kindly make it convenient to attend the meeting.
