8/15. ICH Kottayam: One SA post and MTS posts for ICH Kottayam in the wake of heavy work is requested.
The statistics compiled recently have been forwarded to C.O vide this office letter No. C/SP/Estt/Review dated 04.08.2015 for augmenting the establishment of ICH KTM as 3 SAs + 1 MTS.
18/15. Ladder to SRO Alappuzha.
It is requested to provide a ladder so as to make the cleaning of fans and replacing of tube lights easy.
Quotations were not yet received from SRO Alappuzha.
20/15. Modernising of MPCM at Kottayam RMS. Necessary steps to curb the shabby look is requested. Supply of a new system also necessitated.
The report of IP Kottayam RMS has been received and action is underway.
22/15. Renovation of bathroom of TVM RMS.
The report of ASP, TVM RMS/1 is yet to be received.
23/15. Supply of new Generator to KTM RMS.
Proposal has already been forwarded to Circle Office.

24/15. Printer for Counter of Kayamkulam RMS
No separate printer is available for the counter and is using the printer of PH Kayamkulam, whereas PH is busy with heavy work and not in a position to spare always.
Addl. System Administrator will be directed to examine and report.
25/15. Parcel Hubs:
a) PH Kollam:- The work has been considerably increased with an average of 950 PLs creating hardship to the staff. Increasing of staff strength to meet the situation is requested.
Action will be taken on the basis of the statistics to be compiled on 13/14.10.2015 in Kollam RMS/2 & on 14.10.2015 in Kollam RMS/1.

b) PH Kottayam:- The average PL receipt of PH Kottayam reached 1000. Present establishment is not in tune with the increased receipt. Revision is requested.
As per the latest statistics compiled by IP, Kottayam RMS, the present establishment of 2 SAs is sufficient to carry out the work in PH KTM.

26/15. KTM RMS:- Supply of roller cages with movable cross bars is requested.
The present cages are not having movable cross bars and are causing injuries on the heads of the officials by hitting on the top bar.
The specifications of Roller Cages are issued by Postal Directorate.
Hence this may be taken up at Circle level.

27/15. Repairing of Windows and doors of bathroom of Kollam RMS
Windows and doors of bathroom of Kollam RMS are in dilapidated condition and became path to rodents including snakes. Immediate repairing is requested.
The report of IP, Kollam RMS will be called for.
28/15. Flooring of bag branch and scooter shed of Kollam RMS is requested.
The report of IP, Kollam RMS will be called for.
29/15. Booking counter of Kollam RMS
Present booking counter is not sufficient to meet the increased business. The staff side is congested and customer side lakes cabin. Hence modernisation to meet the increased business is requested.

30/15. Supply of a new generator to Changanacherry Stg
No generator is available in Changanacherry Stg which is having night sets. Also power failure is being experienced during duty hours, which disturbs the smooth functioning of the set. Hence supply of new generator to Changanacherry Stg is requested.
The supply of a new generator can be considered only after shifting of Changanassery Stg to a new building. However, the proposal for purchase of a portable generator will be forwarded to C.O.
31/15. Laser printer and shelf for keeping records to SRO Tiruvalla.
It is requested to supply one laser printer and a shelf for keeping records to SRO Tiruvalla.
Printer will be supplied subject to the availability of funds and Shelf will be diverted from other units or from PSD TVM, if available.
32/15. Trivandrum RMS:- Cash bags are being received from certain Post offices. No correspondences have been received from D. O in this regard. Also no facility is being provided to keep the cash bags. These bags are being dumped in the floor behind MSA lacking proper security. Necessary orders may kindly be caused.
The case has already been taken up with Circle Office vide this office letter No. D4/10/13 dated 30.6.2015. Further orders from C.O is awaited. Will be reminded.
33/15. Supply of Remote Scanners and sorting chairs to NSH TVM
It is requested to supply Remote Scanners and necessary sorting chairs to NSH TVM.
Two Remote Scanners have been supplied to NSH TVM on 23.09.2015. In the case of Sorting chairs, the report of Manager, NSH TVM will be called for.
34/15. Kindly ensure establishment in BNPL in NSH TVM.
Will be examined.
35/15. TV 32 IN opening in NSH TVM:- The work of NSH TVM became heavy and unmanageable. Bags received through TV 32 IN available at TVM TMO at about 13.15 hrs and Mumbai side bags available at Airport at about 13.30 hrs could be opened in day unit. This will be a relief to the night unit.
The report of Manager, NSH TVM will be called for. This will be examined on its receipt.
36/15. TVM RMS PH:- Kindly find the attached copy of the Parcel traffic for the month. Receipt reached 2000 plus and regular detention of bags is occurring. Present establishment of 4 SAs is insufficient and last time diversion from other branches creates confrontation among staff. This union suggests an establishment consisting at least 6 Sas with necessary MTS for the smooth going. Regular night shift in addition to present functioning as pro tempore is also requested.
At present Night set is being arranged to deal with PLs, during exigencies. This system may continue.

37/15. NSH TVM deals with 200-250 EPP [heavy and bulky] articles per day. At present no additional establishment is given. This causes heavy burden to the officials in addition to their normal work. Kindly arrange one o/s & one mazdoor for processing of EPP articles in NSH TVM.
The report of Manager, NSH TVM will be called for.
The next meeting is proposed to be held on 05.11.2015 at 1030 hours. Items to be discussed in the meeting may be submitted on or before 26.10.2015. Kindly make it convenient to attend the meeting.
