3/14. Providing of fans in TVM
RMS.
Fans are urgently needed
for TD Level 1 sorting case at CRC and second class Hub in TVM RMS. Immediate
action may be taken to provide the same.
Taken up with Circle Office for
directing AE (Electricals) to relocate the fans and lights vide this office
letter No. MBC/75/13 dated 15.07.2014.
Hence the case may be taken up at Circle level.

11/14.
Replacement of Generators in Changanassery Stg
In the case of generator at CHRY Stg, Local Purchase Committee for the purchase of
the same has been convened on 20.11.2014 and quotations received were forwarded
to C.O alongwith the minutes for approval on 24.11.2014.
16/14. Maintenance of the grills in
the main entrance of Kottayam RMS is requested.
This work has been included in the
estimate submitted by AE(Civil Wing) to C.O.
19/14. Painting of Kayamkulam RMS is
requested.
Work has been completed.

22/14. Vinyl flooring at 1st
class Hub in TVM RMS
Vinyl flooring is needed
in 1st class hub also. It helps the smooth movement of trolleys.
Change of flooring is included in
the National Cleanliness drive and work will be carried out on getting approval
from C.O. The case may also be taken up at Circle level.

32/14. One
Accountant post was temporarily shifted to BPC TVM. As there is no sanctioned
accountant post in BPC TVM and the Accountants in HRO TVM are facing heavy work
load, the Accountant post should be
reinstated to HRO TVM. In the wake of diversion of supervisor post in BPC the
case may be reconciled accordingly.
This
is under examination.
38/14. The
toilet in Changanassery Stg is in dilapidated condition. Maintenance of toilet
is urgently required.
This has already been taken up
with Circle Office. Also, IP has been directed to find an alternate building to
house Changanassery Stg.

39/14. Daily
requirement of two ply paper in KTM RMS is 1000 – 1500 sheets [Parcel, ICH,
CRC, CTR]. As paper is supplied from HRO TVM, during Holidays and Sundays
non-availability of stock in HRO TVM correspondingly affects the supply of
paper to KTM RMS.
HRO TVM
has been directed to supply the same as per requirement. Also, the case has
been taken up with C.O & PSD TVM.

New items:
1/15. Yearly Rotation in NSH TVM
It
is requested to adopt norms for deployment of SAs in NSH TVM. Also requests to
bring OA posts in NSH TVM under the purview of tenure post.
Report
of Manager regarding implementation of rotation among SAs in NSH TVM, will be
called for.
2/15. TVM RMS PH : The PL traffic is constantly and considerably
increasing. Revision of present establishment in accordance with the increase
traffic and additional number of nodes are requested. Present mechanism in PL
Hub needs at least two SAs for closing of bags. So it is also requested to
revise the establishment on Mondays and day after Holidays.
Establishment
in the PL Hub will be reviewed after assessing the work load with the revised
Parcel norms.

3/15. Computer for Supervisors of HRO(A/Cs)
Necessary
nodes may kindly be supplied to Supervisors enable to access the files and
folders of OA Acct.
One
system will be supplied after completion of the work relating to network
cabling.
4/15. Concealment of computer wires and accessories in HRO TVM is
requested.
LPC has
been convened and quotations forwarded to C.O for approval vide this office letter
No. TGY/HRO TVM dated 22.01.2015.
5/15. MPCM TVM RMS: 3 SAs in
peak business hours of MPCM is requested. Serpentine queues results in
desertion by traveller customers.
Directions
will be given to HRO TVM to arrange SSA 14 as MPCM SA 3 from 1300 hrs to 2100
hrs as instructed earlier.
6/15. Bringing of air bags to TVM RMS/2 from Airport
Necessary
steps to bring air bags curbing inordinate delay is requested.
ASP, TVM
RMS/1 reported that though the flights are being arrived earlier, the air bags
are brought to cargo at about 1130 hrs only. Hence arrangement of additional
trip for collection of air bags from airport will give no positive results.
However, the case will be taken up with SSPOs, TVM (North) Division.
The next
meeting is proposed to be held on 26.2.2015 at 1030
hours. Items to
be discussed in the meeting may be submitted on
or before 20.02.2015. Kindly make it convenient to attend the meeting.
